Benjamin Howell Biography

Benjamin Howell - Biography Portrait Building positively on the benefits of a good musical education, Benjamin left college to commence a career in the challenging, yet personally fulfilling, world of professional music. He trained on the piano, organ and trumpet and gained grades with both Royal Associated Board of Music and London College of Music. His teaching experiences include working as piano/trumpet tutor in various primary schools across Norfolk and East Coast Music Centre in King's Lynn, teaching students of all ages throughout the grades. The lessons that he undertakes are individually formulated for each pupil, covering all aspects to ensure enjoyment and exam success. The last three years have also given Benjamin the opportunity to work with the students at the College of West Anglia as Musical Director, teacher and vocal coach for their summer musical productions. Voluntary work has also played a part in his life with a string of musical productions for amateur societies and European tours for bands and orchestras of varying sizes. At a more local level he plays the church organ for many events at parishes around North Norfolk. Benjamin has gained broad experience working with some great influential entertainers and musicians in the business. For the last 5 years he has worked in theatres around the British Isles as Musical Director and keyboard player with a critically acclaimed theatre show and professional pantomimes. His work has included working as a guest keyboard player in a four piece band onboard the P&O's newest cruise ship 'The Azura'.
